Hunter Mountain is open with top-to-bottom skiing and snowboarding on the Hellgate, 7th Ave., Kennedy Drive and Fifth Avenue route, serviced by the Kaatskill Flyer six-passenger chairlift. Skiing and riding will be for advanced or better ability levels only until we begin to spread over more terrain.

New for 2012-2013 Season:
Over the summer we have been busy cutting some new gladed areas. Our new Which Way Glades on Hunter West will be a nice addition for our expert skiers and riders, and our Empire Glades next to the terrain park between Lower Broadway and Kennedy will be ready by the time snow flies. We have also removed Z-Lift on the West Side. Claire's Way will be without lift towers for the first time since the 70's!

While we had to postpone opening day due to recent temperture inversions, we are going to resume snowmaking as soon as conditions allow and are hoping to open as soon as we can! It looks like the next blast of cold air gets here Saturday!
